“2020-2021 has been the most unique academic year we can remember. While COVID restrictions kept our production students from their traditional filmmaking teamwork, it did not keep them from telling stories. Through our introductory course (COMM 2700) and our pandemic-era Multimedia Storytelling course (COMM 3798), students in Multimedia Production worked on a unique array of projects this year. Here is a selection of the best projects to come out of a strange, complicated year. “

Recognition: Still Image for “Walking Streak”

Description:
I have always had a special connection with my dad. The past year has brought seemingly endless burdens into our life, and it has taken a toll on both our mental and physical health. So, on January 1st we decided to start a walking streak. Rain or snow, busy or sick, we vowed to walk every day of 2021.
What started as a journey of health, ended up strengthening our father-daughter bond more than we could have ever imagined. 100 days and counting… I’m so glad I recorded our Walking Streak.
